UPDATE MONDAY 5:15 P.M. – Police describe the suspect as a white male in his 50’s wearing a Yankees hat and sunglasses.
The Greenwich Police Department is investigating an attempted bank robbery in Cos Cob today.
According to the GPD, the suspect entered the Chase Bank and demanded money. However the would be thief ended up leaving with no money.
No further details were immediately available except that no one was hurt. Greenwich Time will have more information as it is released.
